Eating time

Poor Hyrum got his finger burnt on Easter day. He was sitting on Russell's lap during dinner and reached out to grab Russell's food. Poor kid. Russ immediately got it off, but he just has such delicate baby skin (Hyrum, not Russell!). It's better now, but that along with growing in his second tooth made him a bit sad for a few days.

Loveland Art Show

Love land Art Show 2007

Scott was invited to the biggest Branze show in America this year. He sold two pieces at the show. Congratulations to Scott and Brooke.

Mom and Dad were able to come to the show to support the new artist.

Thanksgiving Point Show

I hired a pretty face to man the booth.
The sculpture "Emma's Garden" was completed the day before the show opened.
I spent about 8 hours chiseling the sandstone base. Getting it there was also quite a chore. It weighs somewhere between 200 to 300 pounds.

The show was a lot of fun and great experience. I think the heat (over 100 degrees) and not enough advertising lead to a pretty small turn out. The show in the years to come will only be bigger and better.

Easter!

All of the kids loved the Easter egg hunt! I wish we'd taken some pictures of it. We have a few pictures of everyone opening eggs afterwards, those are some happy children!! (you can't SEE this because none of them are actually looking at the camera, you'll just have to take our word for it!)

Hogle Zoo

Fun times at the zoo! Unfortunately Russell's camera died in the first half hour so we'll have to wait for Dad's pictures to see some good photos of all the kids!
